Can you assist if I live outside Iceland?
We advise international clients on matters connected with Iceland. The appropriate forum and the scope of our assistance depend on the countries involved and the facts. Tell us where the parties and any children live, and whether proceedings are already under way.
What should I prepare for an initial discussion?
Prepare a short chronology, the main questions you want answered and details of any existing proceedings or deadlines. Relevant documents may include agreements, court decisions and correspondence. We will agree how to transfer confidential material after the initial enquiry.
Can the matter be resolved by agreement?
We can assess options for negotiation and agreement alongside any formal proceedings that may be necessary. The appropriate approach depends on the circumstances and the interests at stake. No outcome can be promised before the facts have been assessed.
How are fees agreed?
